Print design

Engage with a company whose foundations are built on print design, before online marketing even became popular.

Is print design right for you?

Print design services are for companies and organisations who still want to use printed material as part of their marketing strategy. Once something is printed, you can’t just rub it out and start again, so our design and artwork services are ideal for making sure your products and services stand out.

We can produce designs and print-ready artwork for a variety of materials such as flyers, brochures, business stationery, exhibition banners, signage, vinyl graphics and magazine adverts, to name just a few.

How will print meet your goals?

If you’ve had a printed item not look quite right before, it’s probably due to the design and artwork not being produced correctly before being sent to the printer. Printers can only use what they’re given and unless you create artwork for a living, it’s quite a technical thing to get right.

Our print designers have all worked in printing companies during their career, which means they’ve seen a variety of products being produced. Being involved in the process from start to finish means we understand the technical issues that can arise when you produce material using ink and machinery and avoid them.

We’ve seen many examples of ‘print artwork’ that has been created using Microsoft business software: Word, Publisher, PowerPoint… even Excel! Despite being very impressed by the hours of dedication shown by the business manager presenting his lorry graphics mockup in a spreadsheet format, unfortunately, it wasn’t suitable for printing. Microsoft software just isn’t designed to do the job properly – fact. Colours won’t print properly, the edge of the design might get cut off accidentally and the quality of the images is likely to be awful.

We use Adobe Creative Cloud, which takes years of experience to learn to use properly. The software uses print specific terminology, which can be baffling if you’re not trained properly how to use it. So, save yourself hours of frustration by having your print designs created professionally. When you look at the finished printed item, the reason for the investment will become clear.

How much
does it cost?

Because there are so many different types of printed material, it’s impossible to provide a meaningful price range. Please ask for a quote, detailing the following information.

  • Deadline
  • What it is (business card etc)
  • Who will be providing content
  • How many pages
